    In 450 B.C., Captain Hupo launches the Sapphire to deliver food in famine, hoping to reduce injustice on land and sea.  Rowers battle sea creatures, pirates, and the elements, messaging Ruach, the Breath of God, for help thru a Golden Bowl stored onboard.  Mariners sing jingles as they row to stay focused, and Hupo tosses buccaneers overboard at midnight, wrestling with inner dragons whether the nasty bandits are seeking their own survival.  Prayers are intercepted and the will of God flashes across the sky in a Great Mirror.  Hope is increased until the sacred artifact is lost in Acropolis rubble.  
     
     Centuries later, Captain Giovanni inherits the Golden Bowl for a Renaissance mission, seeking forgiveness for an aggressive Venetian doge.  A supernova triggers a volcanic island rescue and sabotages efforts at unity.  Rogue starlings nitpick minds of evacuees, and Giovanni struggles to forgive an evil magistrate.  Can the Transformer create beauty from chaos?  Is unity worth the suffering to create a bella brigata, beautiful brigade of citizens?
